Signing in (Google, Apple, or email/password) is optional in XiaoKao — you can
learn fully as a guest without ever creating an account. If you did sign in, this
page explains how to delete your account and the data tied to it, both from inside
the app and without it installed.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)
Open XiaoKao and make sure you're signed in.
Go to Settings → Account (or tap your account card on the
Profile tab).
Tap Delete account, then confirm Delete
permanently.
This immediately and permanently deletes your account and your cloud backup.
This can't be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
Email sapoinc.support@gmail.com from
the address you used to sign in (or tell us the sign-in method — Google, Apple, or
email/password), with the subject "Delete account". We verify the request and
delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account (Firebase Authentication): email address and display name.
Your cloud backup: synced learning progress (SRS review state, exam
results and answers, wrong-answer list, notes, achievements, EXP/streak
stats) stored on our sync server (Cloudflare Worker/D1).
Your leaderboard entry, if you had joined one (random public ID, chosen
competition name, and points).
What isn't affected
Local data on your device is not erased by account
deletion — it stays on that device as a guest workspace. To remove it,
uninstall the app.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple/Google, not by your
XiaoKao account. Deleting your account does not cancel an
active subscription — cancel it via the App Store or Google Play
(Settings → Subscriptions).
Anonymous analytics/crash events already sent before
deletion are not linked to your account identity and are retained only for
the period configured in Firebase, per our
Privacy Policy.
See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and
why.
